For all of us who spent a big chunk of the first season of Masters Of Sex longing for more Betty, the brassy lesbian who decided to put away her sexuality and marry a man in order to survive in the 1950s, we can all breathe easy because Annaleigh Ashford is back full time in Season 2…
…and we found out she’s definitely going to have some same-sex love.
Last night at PaleyFest, the Showtime series which was celebrated with a panel featuring cast members including Lizzy Caplan (Virginia Johnson), Caitlin Fitzgerald (Libby Masters) and Ashford.
AfterEllen was there on the red carpet before the panel and grabbed time with Ashford and series creator Michelle Ashford (no relation) to find out just how complicated Betty’s life will be and what else we can expect when new episodes begin to air this summer.
