There's a buzz around Japanese boards that speculates Yui Ichikawa might go Nude (her first) on her next film "When I Sense The Sea". She's a big name in the Gravure world and J-Dramas/J-Series.A name I thought will never go nude. A nudity dodger for years now.
Yui is all tease in her Gravure photo-shoots. Her latest photo-book 'Origine' is all tease too. I think she said that is the last time she's going to do a sexy shoot for a photo-book.
"When I Sense The Sea" has a theatrical release slated for September. So add another couple of months to that for the DVD release : (Yui Ichikawa and Sosuke Ikematsu to star in "Umi wo Kanjiru Toki"
Yui Ichikawa (28) and Sosuke Ikematsu (23) will star in Hiroshi Ando's Umi wo Kanjiru Toki (lit. "When I Feel the Sea").The film is based on the 1978 debut novel of then 18-year-old author Kei Nakazawa, who was awarded the Gunzo literary prize for rookie authors later that year. At the time, it was considered scandalous that a girl who was still in high school could write a story from the viewpoint of a woman who engages in a relationship based on casual sex instead of love.
In her first starring film role since 2006's Forbidden Siren, Ichikawa plays a woman named Emiko who meets Yo (Ikematsu) in high school while they're both members of the newspaper club. After Yo kisses her for the first time, they wind up having sex impulsively. From that moment on, whenever they'd see each other, Emiko would demand sex from Yo in spite of them not being involved in a romantic relationship. As time passes, Emiko begins working at a flower shop in Tokyo in order to be near the building where Yo lives while attending university. She continues having sex Yo, but begins to feel deeply hurt and rejected by him.
Additional co-stars include Madoka Sakai, Sakiko Takao, Masaki Miura, and Kumi Nakamura.
Filming of "Umi wo Kanjiru Toki" was completed in December. It will be released by Phantom Film in Japan on September 13, 2014.
